- Led the development of advanced multimodal and agentic AI systems for biomedical and clinical imaging applications, integrating foundation models, vision-language models, and scalable deep learning frameworks.

- Developed MAPL3, a 3D axonal projection mapping pipeline at single-fiber resolution, combining CNNs, vision transformers, and self-supervised learning — submitted to Nature Methods.
- Developed ACE, an end-to-end 3D pipeline for whole-brain mapping of local neuronal ensembles in tera-voxel (~1TB) light sheet microscopy data — published in Nature Methods (2025).
- Pretrained a foundation model for light microscopy on ~3 million 3D image patches across multiple centers and modalities using the 3DINO self-supervised approach.
- Supervised four undergraduate thesis and summer students on ML/DL research projects.
